Teaching STE(A)M with Moodle

Moodle is a highly flexible platform, and in this course, we fully adapt it to meet the instructional needs of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

We have installed nearly all Moodle plugins related to these subjects and curated resources and activities that support them.

How we achieve this

We embrace the modern principle: “STE(A)M education removes boundaries between different disciplines and treats them as a whole.” For this reason, we strive to adopt an interdisciplinary approach, drawing STE(A)M themes from primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary education.

The course’s aim is to enable educators to enrich their teaching process, making it more engaging and enjoyable.

What Moodle provides for STE(A)M

The STE(A)M program in Moodle meets the diverse needs of each learner:

  • Provides educational material in multiple formats (text, video, links, interactive content), allowing learners to navigate freely according to their prior knowledge in the subject.
  • Offers self-assessment and peer-assessment tools, enabling participants to evaluate their progress and the level of acquired skills and knowledge.
