Digital Wellbeng @school
Programme: Erasmus+
Category: KA220-SCH – Cooperation partnerships in school education
Duration: 01.11.2021 – 01.11.2023
“Digital Wellbeing” is a widely used term, referring to the idea that when people interact with technology, the experience should support mental and/or physical health in a measurable way. It therefore implies the ability to build and maintain a healthy relationship with technology and to use it appropriately in order to achieve one’s goals.
The aim of the “Digital Wellbeing@School” project is to strengthen the capacity of schools and educators to integrate digital education in a way that promotes students’ digital wellbeing. To this end, the project will enhance students’ skills in: (i) managing their time online, (ii) making effective use of digital learning, (iii) assessing what is presented on social media, and (iv) recognising technology-related risks.
It aims to foster teachers’ ability to integrate digital education in a way that promotes the physical health and mental wellbeing of both themselves and their students. The results of the project include:
A framework on digital wellbeing for schools across Europe.
A Digital Wellbeing training course and platform for teachers—an Open Educational Resource consisting of six modules:
